Tucked away in the mountains of East Tennessee AyerWaves Music Festival will show you why Scott County is called “The Adventure Tourism Capitol.” Our main stage is situated on top of Possum-Trot Mountain under the stars and amidst the sprawling campground and old western themed town. Exploring the 46-acre property you will find trails, wildlife, and scenic views that will make the trip alone. Now throw in a music festival, a national park, mountain bike trails, river rafting, and bounce houses that will turn any adult into a 5 year old kid again.
Offering exciting outdoor adventure allows us to provide unique experiences at an affordable. Fans have the opportunity to participate in hiking, mountain biking, campfire jamming, and other activities with the bands and artists. Nowhere else can you watch live music on Friday night, mountain bike or hike with the band on Saturday, and enjoy another amazing set of music Saturday night!

Meet the Team

AyerWaves started in 2015 as Josh's Acoustic Summer Concert Series, as a way to bring independent music to Scott County Tennessee.
The concerts were free to the public and held in Josh's back yard. After 7 concerts the event became to big to continue on his personal property. In 2016 Josh partnered with Possum-Trot, a western themed mountain town sitting on top of a mountain in Winfield, Tennessee to expand the event from 1 day to an overnight experience.
In 2017 Josh continued growing the event from 15 performers to a full 3 day/night event. His younger brother Dylan started to help with booking new acts from around the US. The event hosted 58 performances on 4 stages.
2018's AyerWaves event will drop the number of performers, offer more face to face moments, and continue the unique experience for everyone.
